Many Faces of Jordan

In between Iraq and a hard place, Jordan is a sanctuary of stability in a region plagued by conflict and insecurity. Cynics have said that there will never be peace in the Middle East, but I do not believe this is true. My choice to come to Jordan specifically was largely a product of this desire to see first hand a model of a Muslim country living in harmony within its borders and with its neighbors. I arrived in Jordan in September 2007, and during this time I have experienced both the rich history of the Islamic culture and the generosity of the people in the Middle East.
